I am looking for information on John Fields listed in 1850 census in Ray Co. His daughter Cynthia listed there at age 4 is my great- great grandmother. She married Thomas Hockaday (who is the nephew of William Widby found in the same census for Ray Co. I found a marriage license for John Fields and Catherine McDonald and in 1850 Catherine isn't listed and Ann McDonald (mother in law) is living with him. I need more information about this family. One of the daughters married a Taylor. Elizabeth and Cynthia both married Hockadays. If you are related to any of these families I would like to hear from you.

I am trying to locate the exact place of birth for Dorcas Susan Mayden Mason. Mason is her married name. She was born July 21, 1889 in Missouri and we believe in either Ray or Warren County. She married a Charles Franklin Mason in either 1917 or 1918 in Missouri. We would like her wedding date and place. She died on March 17, 1956 in Missouri and we would like to know where in Missouri. We believe in either Carroll or Ray county. Her husband died on October 6, 1977 in Carroll County. Thank you and God Bless.

I am searching for the relatives of Joseph and Frances (NOWLIN) PETTY, who were married in Pittsylvania CO, Va. His parents are Joel PETTY and Anna DICKSON, who are my ggggrandparents. Their daughter Nancy, Joseph's sister married Henry Anderson-Henry AK FERGUSON. I have been searching for 15 years trying to find Joseph and Frances and until, I got a computer and could access rootsweb, I thought they might have died of disease. HI, I am trying to determine the fate of two BROWN families that lived in Ray Co. in 1850. The family of Thomas E BROWN and his wife Dalia COX had children William, Sarah and James in 1850. I am also looking for information on Elizabeth SLATER who was living with Mary FIELD and five BROWN children: James, Riley, Luan, Judith and Sarah in 1850.
