BLAIN, THOMAS posted by Geraldine E. Ballew on Tuesday, August 11, 1998

Thomas BLAIN came to Mo., Ray Co., in the late 1830's with his wife Mary(Polly) Vandiver and 3 minor children. He had 4 adult sons who also came about the same time and settled in Ray Co., I'm sure there are many descendants of these men in the Co., The sons of Thomas BLAIN are William, James, George, and a daughter Polly Ann who married a Hunter and had a son named Thomas. KIRKPATRICK posted by Jerri Stroud on Tuesday, August 25, 1998

I am looking for the name of the mother of Francis and Margaret KIRKPATRICK, who grew up in Richmond, Mo. and who are both buried in Ray County. I believe they were born in Richmond. Neither woman ever married, so their mother's name would be KIRKPATRICK. I have a quilt made by this woman in the 1930s (approx.) and would like to know her name. Frances KIRKPATRICK's birthdate was 11/10/1895. She died 3/17/81.
