Looking for information about Samuel Holman who marrie Mary Emaline Shields (or Field) 4 Aug. 1856 in Ray Co. They are listed in the 1860 Ray Co. census with children Nancy and Elizabeth. Need to confirm the bride's maiden name and her parents names if possible. I have checked the Richmond Recorders office, Marriage Book No. 3 page 55 to page 100 covering 29 Sep 1855 to 24 Nov 1858 but find no record of the marriage recorded there. Any help finding and documenting the issuing of a license or the recording of this marriage and the bride's name would be most appreciated. Owen E. Thompson, Sonora, CA
