#14 on 1973 Ray County History p. 230 Knoxville Twp Ellsberry book: Located one mile north of Knoxville, Mo. on Highway 13; go west two miles on State Road D., on the farm of Glen (or Clen) Green death certificate for Eliza (aka Sarah E) Cummins indicated she was buried in Zimmerman Cemetery and she is on the transcription list for Cummins Cemetery. Some Zimmerman's used to own the land that Cummins Cemetery is on in the earlier plat maps. There's also another Zimmerman Cemetery west of Thomson. 2007: Bob Green owns the land. Cemetery is back in a field and in bad shape. It could even be in Section 21 |
