Located at Bethel Christian Union Church, two and one half miles south of the Caldwell and Ray County line and one half mile west if Highway 13 on 220th Street. northwest of Knoxville --- This cemetery was also called "Cook Cemetery": Death certificate for Zachariah O. Farr indicates he was buried in Cook Cemetery. Date of death was January 24, 1921. Bailey Funeral Home records indicates he is buried in Bethel Cemetery. Death certificate for Joseph E. Thompson indicates he was buried in Cook Cemetery. Date of death was July 8, 1929. Bailey Funeral Home records indicates he is buried in Bethel Cemetery. Death certificate for Alta M. Peoples indicates she was buried in Cook Cemetery. Date of death was November 30, 1910. (possibly buried in Knoxville Cemetery - crossed out on death certificate, but her parents are buried in Knoxville Cemetery.) |
