Big Black Cemetery binder at Ray County Library: Take M Highway to Vibbard. Turn west (160th Street) at crossroad by old store. Go across tracks and turn right. Go on road CA 1/2 to 3/4 miles to first road (Fishing River Road). Turn left. Go to first driveway left (about 100 feet). Go to top of hill. Cemetery is on the left (north) side of the drive. Small cemetery north of other one, fenced by itself [note: "was told this was the "negro" part - but was also told that some of the negro slaves went by the name Crowley, so don't know which is right???] |
