Located on the Glenn Pettus farm, east of the Elkhorn Elementary School on Highway 10 in Ray County, MO. The whole cemetery was badly overgrown. The cemetery is a good way off the road. It is fenced in as it is in the middle of a pasture. Recorded by Carol Colleen Crowley and Joni Harris on November 5, 1985.

This cemetery can be found by going south off Highway 10 just east of the Glenn Pettus home (located on Highway 10 east of the Elkhorn Elementary School) on a private road until you reach a vacated large farm house on the east side of the road, then go several yards east behind the house. This cemetery is fenced in and is surrounded by a pasture.

John Phillips (6th great grandson of John and Amy Phillips buried in Pettus Cemetery)
