MULLINS posted by Katrina Jeppesen on Monday, October 9, 2000

I am searching for information about the couple who built my house, Bert and Daisy Mullins. It is extremely important that I know the history of my farm. From what I understand, they built the house I live in around 1925. I have been unable to find living relatives and am anxious to share some "treasures" I have found here. If anyone knows of Bert and Daisy (or ANY other Mullins that may have lived in Ray County around the turn of the century, please let me know.

BUSH, FISCUS, THOMPSON posted by Stefani Evans on Wednesday, October 11, 2000

In three different histories, in three different bios, the same story is told of the wife of Isaac THOMPSON, Elizabeth (FISCUS) THOMPSON: that on their return trip to Missouri from Oregon via the Pacific Ocean, Isthmus of Panama, Atlantic Ocean, New York, Pennsylvania, and the Missouri River, Elizabeth (FISCUS) THOMPSON died by drowning in the Missouri River near Camden, Ray Co., MO. This would have been in late 1851 or early 1852. Is there any way I can check this information? The bios are on three different children of Isaac and Elizabeth [Marion THOMPSON; Matilda THOMPSON; and Serena (THOMPSON) BUSH, and are found in the following histories [Atchison Co., KS; State of Kansas; and Central Oregon Counties].

FORD posted by June McIlwraith on Saturday, October 28, 2000

I found the gravesite of Bob FORD under "gun fighters". The gravesite lists his d.o.b. as December 8,1841 although the heading says that is wrong, that it was January 31,1863. Both places agree that d.o.d. was June 8, 1892. Anyway, family rumor has it that he was my great, great grandfather's nephew. Except for the fact that he and Charlie killed Jesse James,I have been unable to find any biographical information. Does anyone know anything else aobut him?
