Looking for James Stone born 1816 abt. in KY. First wife Elizabeth had 12 children. Second wife Rhoda ALLEN had several children in MO before moving on to CA in 1859 or 1860. One son was also named James. James J. Stone born Oct. 9,1833. I think he stayed in MO when the family left for CA. I believe the Stones knew the Bones Family in MO and settled in Sonoma County, CA too. Thank you, Erin

John William Hill enlisted in the Missouri State Guard from Richmond, Mo. Enlisted in Co. D 1st Cavalry pf the Confederate Army from Springfield, Mo. on Dec. 26, 1861.Enlistment records indicate his place of birth as Chihuahua, Mexico. Married Missouri D. RIDGE in Nacodoches, Texas on April 12, 1873. Died Dec. 21, 1920. Buried in Aldredge/Dunn Cemetery, Clawson, Texas, just outside of Lufkin, Texas. Children include: Robert Humphrey HILL (b. Dec. 5, 1875), William Tell Hill (b. Nov. 22, 1876), John Hill (b. Ma. or Ap. 1880), Altha Jane Hill (b. July 14, 1883), Joe H. Hill (b. Dec. 1887), Alfa Dilla (aka Affie) (b. Apr.2, 1890), May M. Hill (b. May 1, 1892), Robert V. Hill (b. Ja.7, 1906), and three other unidentified children. I am coming to Ray County the week of July 10 to do further research.

Martha "Patsy" _____. She may be buried in Union Cemetery, Ray Co. She was, probably, born around 1788 and died around 1870. She was married first to _____ Hunt who died 1829/30. She married second 9- 23-1831 in Lafayette Co., James or John ENNIS. Any information would be appreciated.

Looking for info on William Cox family. His wife, Litia, sons John and Silas, Silas' son, Levi Lawson Cox all buried Union cem along with other Cox's. Lewis & Massey Lanier's dau, Mary married James Cox, son of Wm & Litia. James Cox's son, Austin married Lavalet Jennings, dau of William & Martha Jennings. James, Austin, Lavalet, & some Jennings/Laniers moved to Collin Co, TX. Some of Laniers & Jennings also buried Union cem. Are any of original family still in Ray and does anyone know of these families?

LUSK family migratet to Ray County after 1867 from VA. Absolom LUSK and his wife Sarah Jane (UNDERWOOD) LUSK. Had 5 children (1) Wm Leonard (my gr-grandfather m Fannie (MASSENGILL) in Ray Cty, 3October 1880)(2) John (3) Mary Frances (m. Reuben FORTUNE)(4) Emma may have m. Geo. DEVAUL (5) Martha Ann m. Wm Henry HICKMAN . All but Emma and Mary Frances and families migrated to Garfield County, Colo in 1881. No record of death of Absolom. Can someone help me find out what happened TO gR-gR Grandpa Absolom LUSK?

Correction to previus query. Asolom and Sarah Jane LUSK migrated from VA to Ray Cty MO sometime after 1857. Had a child in Ray Cty, MO in 1860 mary Frances LUSK who m. Reuben FORTUNE ion 28 Dec 1881. Martha Ann LUSK m. James Henry HICKMAN in Ray Cty, on 26 Dec 1880. Thanks for any information you can provide.

George Lowe married to Patricia Lowe, whose maiden name was Holloway. They lived in Richmond in the early sixties, They had 3 children at least with one being born in Ray County Hospital.

Looking for any records marriage or death of Mary Ann ADAMS b. in Ray County MO, 24 Aug 1860. HEr parents were Benjamin Franklin ADAMS and Lodusky Jane CUMMINS both born in Ray also. They belonged to the Union Christian Church. I have no records of her beyond her birth. Also her brother Ulysses ADAMS b. 1867 in Ray County. I know he did not die as he is on every census with them. I just do not have any other info on him.

Seeking information on my grandparents John Robert Clark B:4 Nov 1867 in Ill. D:30 Jan 1952 Liberty, Mo and Cora Agnes Page B:17 Sep 1879 at Richmond D:16 Oct 1934 at Liberty. They were living in Richmond in 1920 when my father was born and John & his first wife lived in Richmond when thier daughter (Goldie) was born in 1892 and his firsrt wife's (Louella Lackey) Obit in 1915 is said John was a councilman. John ran grocery stores in Richmond and in Independence according to his Obit.
