I have been told that Oliver had brothers by the names of William and John, and that his father was Benjamin. I think Oliver married a Mary MCDONALD (born June 30, 1827 in Missouri possibly). I have no marriage date or location. Oliver and Mary had 16 children that I know of, born between the years of 1841 and 1872. One of these children, Charles Henry PARR b.April 18, 1867, is known to be my great-grandfather. I do not know where Charles was born. One of Oliver's other sons was also named Oliver, b.1855. when Richard W. GLENN was killed in action in North Africa on January 31, 1943.
He was a Ray county soldier but I don't know where he lived in the county.
 
Richard's body was not brought back after the war and he remains interred in Carthage,
Tunisia.
 
I am updating a book I wrote about my uncle, who was also killed, and am trying to focus
more on the men who died with him.
 
Am expecting to pay for results so let me know.

of Richard's death.
