Looking for my GGGrandfather, Calvary DILLEN, brother of Thomas DILLEN, Barney DILLEN, James DILLEN, William DILLEN, Mary MCNABB CLEVENGER, Letty (Lydia) CLEVENGER.  All came to Ray and Clay Counties from Cocke County Tennessee about 1855.

My Great Great Grandfather, Calvary DILLEN was killed in a sawmill/lumbering accident between 1859 and 1862. Young wife, Nancy and three children "rescued" by her brother, Willis GRAY and brought back to Newport, Cocke County, Tennessee. Two of the  Children, John Calvin DILLEN (born 1857) and Thomas J. DILLEN (born 1859) were born in Missouri.  Older two, James and Margaret were born in Tennessee.

Looking for burial place of Calvary DILLEN.

I have reason to believe that she is the dau of Samuel and Sarah DEHART but so far can't find the connection. She did not appear on the 1860 census.

I have no information except that she was supposedly a full blooded Cherokee. I have not been able to locate her maiden surname to search Cherokee Indian rolls. Their son, EDWARDS, Walter Winifred was my grandfather. He was born in MO in 1881 but exact town is unknown. There is some information in the family Bible that indicates her maiden name was De HART and that her father's name was Samuel De HART but I have been unable to substantiate that information.
