QRYTEXT:I am trying to find my great great grandparents, parents of William Henry FLEMING, born Ray County about 1845. I cannot find his parents, who obviously lived there when he was born. Family tradition says that either great grandfather William or his father was a Baptist Preacher. If the church is named after him (should be a Samuel/Semuel/ or perhaps Thomas FLEMING). I have the bible he used when he taught sunday school, but it does not have family history information in it. I inherited it from my mother, who was given it by her sister, who got it from their parents etc. etc. It has been very well used, but still in good shape, but no documentation in it. Can you please tell me if this is the Fleming family the town of Fleming is named for?  Just FYI - William Henry FLEMING and his daughter Hallie FLEMING who died young (early twenties) are buried at Neosho IOOF cemetery near the old civil war quarter (although not in it). Wm Henry was widowed when my grandfather Claude Moore FLEMING and brother were small children. He then married Ledora Timmons COMBS (2nd marriage for both). I do not know where his first wife is buried, nor do I know the name of my great great grandfather's wife (William's mother).
I will deeply appreciated any help you can give me. I was there in May of this year for a once in a lifetime trip, but did not have enough information to pursue great great grandfather and his wife. Thank you ever so much! Carolyn Ellertson, Kalama, (State of) Washington in the Pacific NW.

Jesse Cleveland ENDSLEY, who resided in Richmond in 50s, and Charley BUDISLICES who in the early 40s owned a grocery store called Charley Consumers on the SE corner where the old Farris theater used to be. I have been unable to find any info on either in the ssdi or any other source. I was told that jesse cleveland ENDSLEY's father was a Col. Abe ENDSLEY out of NC or TN. and that he was an auctioneer. All members of BUDISLICES family are deceased as far as i know. Charley was married to Edra RICHARDS. Charley BUDISLICES had a brother Rudolph , I last heard of him in Chicago in the 70s. Charley is buried in the Cemetary on the highway west of Richmond. Any info on these would be greatly appreciated. I am at a dead end here. QRYTEXT:In three different histories, in three different bios, the same story is told of the wife of Isaac THOMPSON, Elizabeth (FISCUS) THOMPSON: that on their return trip to Missouri from Oregon via the Pacific Ocean, Isthmus of Panama, Atlantic Ocean, New York, Pennsylvania, and the Missouri River, Elizabeth (FISCUS) THOMPSON died by drowning in the Missouri River near Camden, Ray Co., MO. This would have been in late 1851 or early 1852. Is there any way I can check this information? The bios are on three different children of Isaac and Elizabeth [Marion THOMPSON; Matilda THOMPSON; and Serena (THOMPSON) BUSH, and are found in the following histories [Atchison Co., KS; State of Kansas; and Central Oregon Counties].
